Session 1 · Hex Overlay · 1 in = 1 m · Hexes = 1 m
Built to real scale for printing. Three connected spaces now: the main bar room (14 m x 8 m footprint, unchanged), an enlarged back room (8 m x 8 m, up from the original 4 m x 8 m), and a third room the same size as the main bar room, reached through an open archway - tables around its perimeter, a worn dance floor, and a makeshift stage. Full building footprint is L-shaped since the back room and the dance room extend in different directions off the main room. The SVG is set to true physical inches (viewBox = inches) - printing at 100% scale (not "fit to page") gives real 1 inch = 1 meter, each hex = 1 meter.
Paper size: This map is now 21 in x 19.5 in - well beyond Tabloid/Ledger (11 x 17 in). For an actual physical print, use a copy shop's large-format/poster printer, or a PDF "tile across pages" option to split it across several Letter sheets and tape them together. For tomorrow's table, running it directly in a VTT (Roll20, Foundry, or just this page zoomed in on a shared screen) may be more practical than printing at this size.
Bar
A real 1 m staff aisle behind the counter, back-bar shelving against the wall, six stools on the patron side. Junie Prosper's usual post.
Open Floor & Booths
Four round tables, three booths against the shortened south wall - the rest of that wall is now the archway through to the dance room.
Back Room
Doubled in size. A pool table sits at an angle in the upper-right corner, plus two booths along its own south wall - a real hangout space, not just overflow storage.
Open Archway
No door, no wall - the south end of the main room opens straight into the third room. Sound and sightlines carry both ways.
Dance Room
Same footprint as the main room. Tables ring the perimeter, a worn dance floor takes the center, and a makeshift stage sits against the south wall.
Entrance
West wall of the main room, roughly mid-wall - clear of the bar and the round tables. The building's only marked front entrance - unmarked from outside. Where the Foundation response team breaches in from.
Back Exit
East wall of the dance room, opening onto the alley behind the building. A second way out, away from the front door.
Full footprint: main room 10 m x 8 m, back room 8 m x 8 m, dance room 10 m x 8 m - an L-shaped building, ~1,720 sq ft total. Grounded in scale against the real narrow-lot buildings on this block of Decatur Street, expanded well beyond that single lot's footprint as a real, larger venue.
